Another day of light winds today but plenty of interest in racing! We must have made quite a spectacle from the shoreline with 8 boats racing: 3 FD’s, 2 Visions, Wayfarer, Laser and Lark. We also had one of the club Wayfarers out and Casi-Casi was sporting her distinctive red sails and Derek made his maiden voyage on the Kitiwake. So including the Safety Boat, we had 12 craft on the water. Is this a record? Certainly a sign that the club is growing up….
Sadly the wind wasn’t as spectacular as our fleet and pretty well died as the afternoon advanced. We just managed one race, which yielded some interesting results after applying the handicaps. Congratulations to Andy and Jim for a joint first – it’s good to see someone is giving Andy some competition!!
