25th September Sailing

Another day of light winds this Sunday but 4 boats out on the water this time.  The buoys were put out early by David and myself offering a good starboard hand course.  Unfortunately we didn’t get well enough organised to start a race but all 4 boats enjoyed multiple circuits of the triangular course.  Two Flying Dutchmen sailed by Rudolfo & Philip and Sarah & Steve provided a great spectacle out on the trapeze.  David and I sailed the Lark and were joined by Graham and newcomer Moreton in the RS Vision.  Concerned about the Flying Dutchmen overheating, David managed to throw water over them with his baler as they sailed past us!  Enjoyable sailing for all and good use made of the buoys providing plenty of practice for next weeks racing!!

Thanks once again to Nigel and David for providing Safety Boat cover and to Graham as OOD
