A perfect wind meant we had a great sail; apart from Dave was stood up on the slipway with Maggie having a flight delay.
However 4 boats made it out and managed 2 races.
There was some contention over a false start when the start gun didn’t happen when expected and ¾ of the fleet were 10 seconds over the line. We reassembled for a restart – much to Lynne and Robert’s dismay as they were waiting for the signal before crossing the line and would have got off to a flyer.
It was great to have Andy back, and on form, even in the leaky laser.
There was a bit of excitement whilst waiting for the second race when, without advising the safety boat, Luca decided to take a swim causing Norman and John to roar over to enact their man-overboard procedure.
Thanks to SB crew and Steve for the tow.
