Another lovely day in Garrucha when wind conditions turned out much better than expected. The forecast was for very light winds all morning but the breeze built up steadily resulting in some good sailing. Plenty of activity in the dinghy park and on the water with four boats racing and John and Peter in the club Wayfarer, Steve and Elaine in their Vision and it was also good to see Derek out again in the Kittiwake.
There was quite a lot of congestion on the slipway at times with a trailer sailor launching and motor boat coming in at the same time as we were all trying to recover our boats.
We managed to fit in three short races with a photo finish between the Lark and the Vareo in the third one lap race!
Thanks once again to Big John and Little John for their support on the safety boat and for the helpful tow they gave me out of the harbour!
Congratulations to Peter and Luca winning race one by a huge margin and congratulations to Rodolfo and Philip winning races two and three.
